The Car Body Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for carrying out high-quality fabrication and welding work on vehicle bodies that have corrosion or structural damage. The role involves manufacturing and fitting repair panels to restore vehicles to a safe and professional standard, in line with industry specifications and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld repair panels for damaged or corroded vehicle bodies.
• Carry out structural and non-structural welding repairs with precision and accuracy.
• Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods.
• Ensure all fabrication and welding work meets quality, safety, and manufacturer standards.
• Use welding and fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well organised workshop environment.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians to ensure timely and high quality repairs.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year's experience in car body welding and fabrication (desirable).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret repair specifications and measurements.
• Welding certification or relevant technical qualification is an advantage.
• Good understanding of workshop health and safety practices.
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
