Job Description
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review financial reports related to capital and fixed assets.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for fixed assets.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies for asset management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights.
- Support year-end audits with accurate asset-related documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements for asset management.
- Provide advice on capital expenditure and depreciation schedules.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Capital & Fixed Asset Accountant should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in managing fixed assets and capital accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial systems.
