CAP Qualified Mobile Powered Access Engineer

We're opening a new depot in the DE7 area and we're looking for an experienced CAP-qualified Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join our team.

This is a mobile role, working from our new DE7 depot and travelling to customer sites to service, inspect, diagnose and repair powered access equipment. It's a great opportunity for someone who knows powered access, enjoys getting out and about rather than being workshop-based every day, and wants to join us at an exciting time as we expand our operation.

The Role. Working Mon-Fri, 7:30am-5:00pm on a varied range of powered access equipment, including:

Truck-mounted MEWPs

Van-mounted MEWPs

Spider-mounted MEWPs

Your day-to-day work will include:

Attending customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment

Servicing and maintaining powered access equipment

Fault finding and diagnostics

Hydraulic, electrical and mechanical repairs

LOLER inspections and thorough examinations

Identifying defects and completing necessary repairs

Preparing machines to ensure they are safe, compliant and ready for use

Maintaining accurate service, inspection and repair records

Working to a consistently high standard of safety and workmanship
