The Role
We are currently recruiting for a CAMO Maintenance Planning Engineer reporting to the CAMO Maintenance Planning Lead. The role is responsible for delivering effective aircraft, engine, and component maintenance planning activities in accordance with all applicable Aviation Regulations and International Standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable Aviation Regulations at all times.
- Performing CAMO Maintenance Planning activities within the scope of the Aviation Regulatory Approvals held, as specified in the Regulatory Approval Certificates and Expositions.
- Producing and managing maintenance plans for the fleet's aircraft airframes, components, role equipment, and mission equipment - short, medium, and long-term.
- Managing maintenance plans for powerplants (engines, APU's, and propellers) - short, medium, and long-term.
- Scheduling and participating in planning meetings, including weekly, monthly, and base maintenance pre-inputs.
- Scheduling all scheduled and out-of-phase aircraft maintenance tasks such as ADs, SBs, modifications, and repairs.
- Managing rotatable and non-rotatable component forecasts in collaboration with the Supply Chain Department.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in commercial CAMO Maintenance Planning - Required.
- Knowledge of AOC Operations and aviation regulations (EASA, UK CAA, FAA, UK Military) - Advantageous.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and Safety Management Systems - Advantageous.
- People management experience - Advantageous.
- Technical qualifications such as EASA / CAA / Other Part 66 B1/B2 Aircraft Engineer License, or relevant engineering degree, or equivalent industry experience, or proven CAMO planning experience.
- Aircraft type training or familiarisation - Advantageous.
- Ability to hold an SC-Level security clearance - Required.
