CAMHS Team Lead Administrator

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and experienced Administrator to take on a leadership role within the CAMHS administrative team. This position offers an opportunity to develop supervisory management skills while supporting the delivery of high-quality mental health services to children and young people.

Main duties- Lead a team of Administrators, ensuring a comprehensive, consistent and efficient administrative service.
- Develop a thorough understanding of processes relating to referrals and treatment pathways for Children & Young People.
- Review service provision with clinical colleagues to ensure the administrative function supports proactive patient management along the pathway and within Local and National Access Targets.
- Monitor referral and appointment pathways with appropriate Line Management to reduce delays in patient pathways and escalate concerns as required.
- Promote best practice standards by developing, implementing and advising staff on administrative principles and processes to facilitate efficient administration services.
- Provide flexible support across the service to ensure clinical services are delivered efficiently and that children, young people and families receive a seamless and timely service.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Experience- NVQ Level 3 Administration or equivalent experience
- GCSEs
- Experience of managing a team
- Excellent communication skills for negotiation and problem solving; ability to manage service users' expectations
- Strong problem-solving and prioritisation to meet deadlines
- Experience with data management and reporting
- Experience within healthcare or mental health administration
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience
