CAMHS Liaison Senior Practitioner

We are looking for a practitioner who is confident working autonomously and accountably within an integrated team.
In this varied role you will provide comprehensive mental health assessment for children and young people who are in crisis, formulating details risk management plans and making referrals to partner agencies and services. You will thrive on working with a wide range of Children, Young People, Families, teams and services. You will be adaptable, able to meeting the changing needs of individuals, teams and networks.
Your role will include providing a high level of specialist mental health advice and input within discharge planning meetings. You will also be able to offer post-assessment reviews, psycho-social interventions, and self-harm minimisation tools, to effectively manage risk and support a young person's safety within the community.
You will offer line management and clinical supervision to staff members as appropriate within the team structure. You will support the matron in clinical, professional and operational meetings as required.
The role involves shift work, over a 7-day period. Covering hours of 9am-10pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm weekends and bank holidays. Flexible working pattern available on request.
