Job Description

Are you or someone you know an experienced Calibration Engineer (RF/Electrical) looking for an exciting new opportunity?

We are seeking highly motivated Calibration Engineers to join our teams, based in Yateley.

Joining our team as a RF Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking various calibrations both ISO9001/17025 accredited in accordance with Company Procedures, UKAS regulations, recognised specifications, etc. Calibrating measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards.

About the Role

• Perform calibration of customer equipment using approved procedures and good Metrology practice.

• Ensure all certificates and records are completed accurately;

• Participate in UKAS and accreditation audits.

• Handling technical enquiries and liaising with clients where necessary.

• Produce, develop and audit automated and manual calibration procedures for use within the Laboratory for customer calibration.

• Develop measurement uncertainty budgets for customer calibrations.

• Provide technical support and mentoring to colleagues on request in line with capability.

• The ability to understand & interpret specifications/technical drawings will be advantageous.

• Calibration of general-purpose RF equipment, including Sensors, Power Meters, Signal Generators, Counters, Network Analysers etc

Requirements

• Have previous experience as an RF Calibration Engineer.

• Inspection or calibration experience in the manufacturing, aerospace or automotive sector.

• Ideally technical qualification such as degree, HND or HNC.

• Good understanding of calibration practices and theories.

• Excellent knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
