Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Café Manager to lead our bustling café environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. The Café Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food preparation processes, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Key Requirements :

Full driving licence (essential)
Willingness to travel to other sites when required

The Role

Ensure the service operates efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction
Take responsibility for all aspects of the service and team during shifts
Collaborate with site supervisors to plan and review operations
Complete all required administrative tasks within set deadlines
Deliver exceptional customer service
Set up corporate meeting rooms and menus as needed
Implement staff training in line with company procedures
Ensure full compliance with HACCP, Food Safety, and Health & Safety legislation

Duties

Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Manage and supervise team members, including baristas, kitchen staff, and serving personnel
Coordinate food preparation and cooking activities to meet quality standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed to maintain inventory
Train staff on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
Implement promotional activities to enhance customer engagement and sales
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café environment at all times
Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with culinary staff

Experience

Proven supervising /management experience within a café, restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
Experience in food production and kitchen operations
Background in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous
Familiarity with barista skills or serving experience is desirable
Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
