Core Responsibilities
  • Beverage Preparation: Craft a variety of coffees (such as lattes, cappuccinos, and pour-overs) and specialty drinks to exact company or recipe standards.
  • Customer Service: Welcome customers warmly, take orders, explain menu items, process payments, and ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Cleanliness & Maintenance: Keep the coffee bar, equipment (espresso machines, grinders), and seating areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
  • Stock & Inventory: Monitor supply levels, assist with deliveries, and restock beans, cups, and food items.
  • Food Handling: Prepare and serve light snacks and baked goods while adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Coffee Knowledge: Understanding of coffee brewing techniques, bean origins, and milk texturing (including latte art).
  • Customer Skills: A friendly, approachable personality with the ability to build rapport with regular customers.
  • Stress Management: Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during busy peak hours.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
