4 days per week onsite in London (Travel to project sites required)

The Role
As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and plans using industry-standard software. You will play a key role in translating field data, sketches, and technical specifications into detailed 2D and 3D designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (eg, AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
• Interpret field sketches, specifications, and technical data into precise designs
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Maintain organised records of drawings and project documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project deadlines
• Conduct quality checks to identify and resolve design errors

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and interpret engineering or architectural drawings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience within construction, manufacturing, or civil engineering sectors
• Knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) tools
• Basic knowledge of materials, construction, or manufacturing processes
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
