Job Description:
The candidate will Join a dynamic team at the heart of our client's Engineering Operations. Virtual Build & Test Operations plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the virtual and physical worlds of product development. We manage a world-class Virtual Series Framework and are driving transformation across our client's Verification and Validation strategy.
As a CAD Analyst, your primary focus will be on identifying and resolving CAD geometry quality issues that impact prototype build readiness. You'll work closely with engineering teams to investigate non-buildable geometry, drive resolution, and ensure that CAD data is accurate, buildable, and aligned with our Engineering Bill of Materials (BoMs) and parts ordering systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage Engineering BoMs (CAD) for full vehicle programmes.
- Identify and resolve geometry quality issues in CAD data ahead of part ordering.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to investigate and fix geometry quality issues.
- Ensure alignment between Engineering BoMs and other key datasets supporting part supply.
- Lead and support CAD quality reviews with Stakeholders and Customers.
Skills Required:
Essential:
- Strong understanding of CAD compatibility and data quality.
- Experience using the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform to view and assess CAD data.
- Proven experience in resolving CAD-related issues in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills - able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Confident working across cross-functional teams and influencing decisions.
- Proven experience in technical project planning and managing complex workstreams.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to deliver under pressure.
Desirable:
- Experience with physical vehicle assessments and prototype build processes.
- Understanding of part release, procurement, and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies and Scrum Practices.
