With a focus on advancing cutting-edge technology and delivering solutions to global challenges, we are currently seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our Aerospace & Defense team. You'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing Fire Control solutions for the new new generation of frigates for the German and Dutch Navy.

What you'll be doing as a C++ Software Engineer:

• Concept definition, system design, continuing to system integration and validation, up until the inclusion of delivery onboard the customer vessels
• In addition to software development: requirements analysis, architecture, design, testing, validation and product demonstrations.
• Working with the other engineers on your agile team and the other agile teams in the same sub-domain
• The use of high-tech techniques and software development methods in C++ / Java.
• Accounting for the security and safety aspects in your code and that of your team

What you need to be successful as a C++ Software Engineer:

• A degree in (Technical) Informatics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Extensive experience (8 years plus) with C++ programming language in a real-time environment
• Familiarity with other languages such as Java is a plus.
• A strong understanding of real-time software development and complex algorithm design.
• A creative, open-minded, and flexible collaborator with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• Dutch nationality is essential due to security measures.
