Job Description

Excellent long term mission for a Fluent French speaking C++ Developer to join a leading client based in Belgium.

Hybrid role: 2 days per week onsite in Leuven.

Mission duration: 3 years.

Daily rate: 560 Euros

C++ Developer required to reinforce a team developing a commercial HR and pay slip product, the client is looking for an experienced and skilled C++ developer to further develop a highly flexible application in a strong team of skilled developers and functional experts.

Skills

Required & non-negotiable

  • Experience C++ in Windows: at least 10 years
  • Experience MFC or willingness to learn
  • Experience in maintenance - advanced debugging and client support: at least 5 years
  • Experience with XML and JSON: at least 2 years
  • Experience with Scrum, XP, SAFe or Lean way of working
  • Ability to create technical documentation and analysis of technical subjects

Nice to have

  • Knowlegde of Stingray, Hyperview or Chillkat
  • Knowledge of C#
  • Experience with Unit testing (eg Google Test) - 1 year or more
  • Experience with VBA - 1 year or more
  • Knowledge of BEID
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server/SQL) - 2 years or more
  • Experience as Scrum master, team coach or agile leadership
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with CI/CD using git
  • Knowledge of UML
  • Knowledge of interoperability between C#/VBA and C++
  • Understanding software architecture principles - loose coupling, design patterns, clean code, SOLID
  • Experience with profiling and memory analysis tooling
  • Experience with Multithreading in C++
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding
  • Understand secure development principles
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, basics of human resources management, accounting, compensation management, personnel administration, payroll.
