About the RoleWe are looking for a BAA to support our Buyer and Assistant Buyer across Knit, Jersey and Petite for our Whistles brand. The successful candidate will be organised and collaborative in their approach and possess a passion for our brand.
What You'll Do- Act as the go to person for the critical path, tracking timelines and ensuring every stage of the product lifecycle runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Take ownership of sample management, from organisation and tracking to preparing samples for meetings, ensuring everything is in the right place at the right time.
- Contribute to analysing competitor activity and the latest seasonal trends, helping us stay ahead of the curve and inform future brand collections.
- Coordinate and prepare for range sign off meetings, managing our systems and processes that keep the department moving forward seamlessly.
- Be immersed in our brand, gain deep knowledge of our business and actively contribute to the creation of a profitable range.
Highly organised, with a strong eye for detail and a knack for keeping things on track. Eager to learn and soak up knowledge from our experienced Buying team from day one.
Qualifications- A commercial mindset and desire to contribute to the success of our brands.
- Resourceful communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
- The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure, thriving in a fast paced environment.
- High motivation and a proactive attitude, always looking for ways to contribute and learn.
- Previous exposure to a buying environment (work, placements or internships) would be a bonus, but it is not essential.
