Job Description

Buyer Food Manufacturing
Location:Dublin Permanent, full-time

Our client, a food manufacturer, is looking for a Buyer to manage purchasing and keep production supplied.

The role
  • Place and track purchase orders for ingredients, raw materials and packaging
  • Source suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms and delivery
  • Monitor stock levels and forecast needs with planning and production
  • Resolve delivery, quality and invoice issues with suppliers
  • Keep supplier records and documentation up to date
  • Report on supplier performance and cost savings
About you
  • Experience as a buyer or in purchasing, ideally in food manufacturing
  • Good negotiation and supplier communication skills
  • Confident with ERP systems and Excel
  • Organised, detail-focused and able to work to deadlines
