At Buy It Direct Group, we don't wait for the next big thing-we build it. Our Lifestyle team is looking for a visionary Buyer (or high-flying Junior Buyer) to join our furniture and interiors category.

This isn't just a desk job. It's an invitation to disrupt the e-tail market, source world-class products, and deliver high-end style without the high-end price tag.

The Role: Your Impact

As one of our Lifestyle Buyers, you will be;

• Defining the Range: Curating market-leading collections


• Global Sourcing: Navigating offshore markets (with a heavy focus on China) to find the best quality at the best price.


• Predicting the next Trend: Staying three steps ahead of the curve to deliver the "unexpected" to our customers.


• Using Commercial Mastery: Using data-driven insights to smash trading targets and optimise category performance.

The Essentials

• E-tail Experience: Solid experience in an eCommerce environment.


• Global Knowledge: Proven experience sourcing from China and other countries, navigating offshore supply chains.


• Category Expertise: A track record of successful trading ideally in furniture, bathrooms, or homewares, but fashion background also considered if you want to make the move into Home.


• Compliance: An understanding of UK QA and compliance standards.


• Data Literate: The ability to translate data and customer behaviour into a winning category.


• Customer Facing: Passionate about the customer and offering them the best product and journey

Salary: Up to £45,000 OTE + Significant Career Growth

Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Position: Full -time - permanent - 4 days office-based / 1 day home working
