Butchery Production Operative

Temporary Ongoing Position with Potential for Permanent Employment - Meat Production Operative (Outskirts of Boston) / £13.00 Per Hour

We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary ongoing position with the potential to turn permanent for the right candidate. Based on the outskirts of Boston, this role involves working in a cold environment, assisting with the making and packing of meat based products such as sausages, haslet, burgers, and more.

Hours of Work

• Monday 6am - 3pm
• Tuesday 6am - 3:30pm
• Thursday 6am - 2pm
• Friday 6am - 2pm

All shifts include a 30 minute lunch break.

This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a cold environment. You will need to dress warmly with layers and bring a packed lunch, as the location is out of town. However, there is a canteen area available on site for your convenience.

Key Responsibilities

• Helping with the production and packing of various meat products, including sausages, haslet, and burgers.
• Handling raw meat, which will involve heavy lifting, so physical strength and stamina are required.
• Ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed during production processes.

What We're Looking For

• Ability to work efficiently in a cold, physically demanding environment.
• A hardworking individual who is comfortable with heavy lifting and carrying loads up to 25kg regularly.
• Previous experience in food production or similar roles would be beneficial, but not essential.
