About the role

You will support the Branch Manager to ensure that the service from your hub is best in class. You will manage a department that is health, safe, and legal at all times, while maximizing efficiency, availability, and delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers the flexibility to run a butchery business without financial risk. We seek someone with good product knowledge of all meat proteins, who is self-motivated and eager to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Manage all butchery activities in line with Be the Best At standards.
• Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately, promptly, and to a high standard.
• Live PRIDE values and ensure the butchery team assists customers professionally and efficiently.
• Complete and record diary tasks as necessary.
• Complete the Meat Pick report as required.
• Support new colleagues during induction.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
• Lead by example, embodying the Booker Code of Business Conduct and Win Together Behaviours.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and mandatory training.
• Support a health, safe, and legal culture.
