Role Overview

Teach Now is seeking an ambitious and engaging Business Studies Teacher to join a supportive and forward thinking secondary setting from September 2026. This permanent full time position offers a salary range of £34,398 - £52,490. The role is available on a part time basis, with the opportunity for a full time timetable for candidates who can teach or provide cover in an additional subject area.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality Business Studies lessons across KS4 and KS5
• Inspire and motivate students through engaging teaching
• Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment
• Support student progress and achievement
• Contribute positively to the wider department and school community
• Support an additional subject area where appropriate

Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching Business Studies within the UK curriculum
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for business education
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• High expectations for student achievement and behaviour
• Flexible and collaborative approach
• ECTs and experienced teachers both welcome to apply
