Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of clients within a UK accountancy practice
  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP
  • Preparing corporation tax returns and overseeing VAT returns
  • Supervising and mentoring junior members of staff
  • Liaising directly with clients, providing accounting and business advisory support
  • Assisting Managers and Partners with ad hoc projects
Requirements
  • ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or qualified by experience)
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax compliance
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
