Business Services Accountant

Reed Practice are supporting a well-respected Practice in the centre of Huddersfield in the search for an experience Business Services Accountant. Great benefits including paid overtime, flexible working and genuine career progression.

• Preparation of accounts for own portfolio of clients comprising Limited Companies/sole traders/partnerships
• Preparation of CT computations for Limited Companies
• Preparation of basic Self Assessment Tax returns
• Serve as primary contact for the portfolio clients, developing strong working relationships
• Preparation of periodic bookkeeping and management accounts
• Training and mentoring of trainee staff members

Ideal candidate:

• Practice experience essential
• Knowledge of CCH suite would be preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of Sage/Xero/QBO
• Experience of meeting regular filing deadlines
• Ability to work well within a team
• Study packages are available
• Further study options would be considered if required
