Business Planning Manager

An established boutique investment management firm is hiring for a Business Planning Manager. This is a new role due to business growth and you will act as deputy to the Head of Business Strategy, with extensive exposure to senior management.

This is a diverse position working across business functions. Key responsibilities will include:

1. Assist in defining and shaping the long-term strategy for the business
2. Produce business plans working closely with company Directors
3. Oversight of forecasting, budgets, expenses etc, in close liaison with the finance team
4. Regular meetings with senior stakeholders; prepare presentations and present in meetings
5. Prepare materials for the Board
6. Ownership of projects from start to finish

Our client is looking for a candidate with significant experience in investment business planning. Ideal candidates will have:

1. Significant experience in a business planning role with a focus on strategic initiatives
2. Experience in the investment management industry and understanding of the investment marketplace
3. Experience in financial planning and producing board materials
4. Excellent stakeholder, relationship management and presentation skills
5. A strong entrepreneurial mind set focused on finding opportunities
6. Skilled at multi-tasking and willingness to be hands-on when required
