Duties of a Business Manager
  • Lead and manage the finance and insurance function within the dealership
  • Support sales team to maximise revenue from finance and insurance products
  • Drive sales performance and ensure high penetration levels of finance and insurance products
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to improve profitability and customer retention
  • Ensure full FCA compliance and adherence to all sales and operational standards
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience throughout the buying process
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business and referrals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure high standards of organisation within the department
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive overall business performance
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Business Manager or Insurance (F&I) Manager within automotive retail
  • Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products, FCA regulations, and compliance
  • Experience managing end-to-end vehicle sales processes
  • Track record of achieving finance, insurance, and profit targets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
  • Customer focused attitude with a professional and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Valid UK driving licence
