Business Development Rep, Demand Generation AWS Startup Job ID: AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch)

AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers to innovate and expand. As a Demand Generation Rep, you will help unlock growth potential for new and existing AWS customers, shaping how technology is deployed and accelerating success across diverse industries. You will own top of funnel activities, conduct high quality account research, source net new contacts, and collaborate across account teams to develop relationships at all organizational levels.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Work with sales team members to ensure opportunities are understood and next steps, such as demonstrations, discovery, and qualification, are clearly defined.
  • Utilize product knowledge and internal resources to leverage technical skillsets in meeting customers' needs.
  • Achieve input and output goals including contacts sourced, leads qualified, customer calls and meetings completed, and opportunities created.
  • Drive net new business via customer acquisition using outbound campaigns and qualifying inbound opportunities from marketing and partner channels.
  • Expand services breadth and consumption within existing customer base through account planning and territory management.
  • Accurately track activity and develop pipeline using Salesforce, with the ability to leverage self service reporting tools.
  • Innovate new and creative ways to engage new customers and expand on existing relationships.
  • Understand each customer's technology footprint, technical challenges, and business objectives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience navigating prospective accounts at senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Sales or equivalent certification.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Experience in IT sales.
