An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a global, fast growing organisation within the electronics manufacturing sector. You will play a key role in driving sales growth, expanding market share, and strengthening long term customer relationships.
RoleTo drive revenue growth and increase market share by developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers. This role requires strong technical knowledge of PCB technologies, commercial awareness, and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify and secure new customers within target sectors
Develop and implement strategic account plans
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and contribute to growth strategy
Act as the primary contact for assigned customers
Understand customer requirements and provide tailored PCB solutions
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
Manage the quote to order process
Provide technical advice on PCB design and manufacturability
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Represent the business at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Achieve annual sales target of £1-3 million (aligned to business strategy)
Deliver minimum 10% year on year growth within assigned accounts
Secure at least 1 new account per quarter
Generate 10 qualified leads per month
Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Business, or related field (preferred)
Minimum 5 years' experience in PCB sales or the electronic components industry
Proven track record in business development and account management
Strong technical knowledge of PCB technologies (HDI, flex, rigid flex, RF, etc.)
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
Experience using CRM systems and MS Office
Familiarity with B2B data platforms advantageous
