Business Development Manager - £60,000 + Great Benefits
Location: Ideally Oxford (flexible/remote considered)
Region: Greater Midlands & National
We're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to support growth with a ground works company, across central to south west England. You'll focus on developing long-term client relationships, securing new contracts, and expanding regional visibility.
You'll work closely with Estimating, Marketing, and Operations teams to convert opportunities, follow up tenders, and maintain a healthy pipeline using a CRM system.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing relationships with property managers, FM companies, housing associations, and commercial estate managers
- Understanding of ground works and Landscaping.
- Winning new business through tenders, frameworks, and direct client engagement
- Negotiating pricing and terms to secure profitable contracts
- Promoting services including grounds maintenance, landscaping, external cleaning, and pest control
- Managing leads, opportunities, and reporting through a CRM
- Supporting regional teams with upselling and smaller job opportunities
About you:
- Proven experience in business development or sales within FM, landscaping, or related sectors
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven
- Comfortable working across regions and collaborating with multiple teams
