A leading global innovator in moving and LED lighting technology is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their UK team. Their products can be found everywhere-lighting up stages and concert halls, theatres, television studios, music venues, theme parks, architectural landmarks, and spectacular live events around the world.
Privately owned and proudly independent, the business thrives on agility, efficiency, and creativity, constantly pushing boundaries to deliver genuinely imaginative tools for a fast-moving entertainment industry. With over 980 employees worldwide, they remain focused on innovation and exceptional customer experiences.
The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a proactive sales professional to drive new business growth while nurturing strong client relationships. Unlike a pure account management role, this position requires a methodical thinker who can identify opportunities, develop strategies, and open doors across diverse sectors including music, theatre, TV, film, touring rental companies, and live events.
The company provides realistic targets and encourages autonomy, offering a supportive environment without micro-management. Success is recognised through an annual performance-related bonus (both company and individual) - not commission based - giving you the freedom to focus on long-term partnerships and strategic growth.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:
A strong sales background with a proven track record of delivering results.
Experience in the entertainment industry (lighting, audio, film, TV, theatre, music, or touring) is highly desirable.
A natural ability to develop new business opportunities and build lasting relationships.
Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to planning and execution.
The role is open to candidates across the UK with flexibility for travel.
