The Role : The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a pipeline of new business opportunities to deliver a profitable revenue growth for the SME division. You will be responsible for managing your day to day, journey planning, proactively setting up businesses meetings and drive sales by offering high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively seek new business within a defined territory to meet set targets
Achieving and exceeding quarterly / annual new business targets
Reporting calls, leads, quotes and contract activity on to the CRM
Producing and presenting weekly, monthly, quarterly personal performance
Liaising regularly with internal stakeholders such as the Depot Manager and the Regional Operations team to roll out sales initiatives within region
Be the primary interface for target customers
Responsible for sales prospecting and pricing negotiations

For this Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Field sales experience, ideally within waste, hazardous waste or recycling
We will consider any B2B field sales background such as but not exclusive to:
Advertising, media, cleaning, hygiene, office supplies, packaging, washrooms, parcels, logistics or payments
Consultative sales process
New business sales experience
Benefits of this Business Development Executive role:
£30-35,000 Basic Salary
OTE £40,000-45,000 Uncapped Commission
Fully Expensed Company Car or Car Allowance
