An established food manufacturing business has a newly created position available for a Business Development Manager to help them achieve their ambitious plan for growth.
Following recent investment in their brands and operations, they're now in a position to grow their existing customer base and bring in new business. Which is where you would come in.
About the Role:
This position offers a mix of account management and new business. Working closely with the MD, you'll take ownership of existing accounts while also looking for new opportunities with retailers and other customers.
As a key part of a small, ambitious commercial team, this is a real opportunity to make an impact on business growth and performance.
Expect a 'hands on' role with a broad scope. From identifying gaps in listings to negotiating terms, planning promotional activities, and collaborating with internal teams this is a chance to be part of an evolving business.
About You:
You'll need experience in a business development or commercial role in food, ideally with exposure to major retailers.
You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, a proactive approach to account management and new business, and an ability to develop lasting relationships with customer and decision makers at all levels.
