Job Description
Internship Overview

We are seeking a proactive and research driven Business Development Intern to support our sales and proposal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Request for Quotations), particularly in the Education sector, across the USA, UK, ANZ (Australia & New Zealand) markets-and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research & Identify RFPs/RFQs: Monitor and extract relevant opportunities from government, education, and commercial portals.
  • Focus on Salesforce CRM or any other CRM implementation opportunities in the education sector.
  • Compile findings into actionable reports for the sales team.
  • Database Creation & Maintenance: Organize identified leads and opportunities into structured formats (Excel, Google Sheets, CRM tools) and maintain an updated repository of procurement portals and contacts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and pre sales teams to support proposal responses and coordinate with marketing for supporting documentation and case studies.
  • Competitive Research: Perform market analysis to understand competition, trends, and client needs.
Key Skills Required
  • Strong Research Abilities
  • Excellent Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Professionalism, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Search
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce preferred but not mandatory)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Final year student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
  • Prior knowledge of government procurement portals like SAM.gov, Contracts Finder (UK), AusTender, etc.
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce or other CRM systems is a bonus
