Job Description
Business Development Executive The Role 
As a Business Development Executive, you will focus on outbound prospecting and early-stage engagement, acting as the bridge between Marketing and Sales. Your goal will be to identify, engage, and qualify new B2B prospects, converting interest into strong commercial opportunities.
Our client is a rapidly growing B2B supplier of high-quality technical solutions, recognised for innovation, responsiveness and customer focus.
Their products have been utilised across major commercial projects within sectors including hospitality, retail, entertainment and live events. The business has also received recognition in regional growth awards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct targeted outbound campaigns via phone, email and LinkedIn
- Research companies and key decision makers to identify new business opportunities
- Qualify inbound leads through discovery calls and allocate to Account Managers
- Build and manage a strong B2B sales pipeline
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track prospecting activity
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Marketing to improve lead conversion
- Attend trade shows, networking events and virtual meetings
- Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity and campaign performance
- Proven experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Lead Generation or Outbound Sales
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and listening skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with experience achieving outbound KPIs
- Able to quickly understand technical products and align solutions to customer needs
- Highly organised with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Industry experience desirable but not essential
