Job Description
Business Development Director

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Director to join one of the UK's largest Print Management companies covering all aspects of the industry. The role is a senior position primarily responsible for business growth within a cluster of named existing client accounts, and for the right candidate could lead to a board appointment.

This is a full cycle sales role, so we are looking for experience of all aspects of sales from research and initial contact through fact find, presentation, close and follow up. You will have full support of the company, but you must still be very self reliant.

Qualifications
  • Prescriptive solution selling experience, including developing account strategies, providing strong leadership and hands on participation in strategic engagements
  • Customer Management solution sales experience with a proven record of regularly exceeding challenging growth targets
  • Experience growing accounts with large project pursuits
  • Ability to initiate and maintain strong, trusting relationships with both technical and line of business executives
  • Ability to lead and manage teams through influence while also functioning as an individual contributor / team member
  • Excellent executive presence with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Key Responsibilities

Drive business growth within a cluster of named existing client accounts, develop account strategies, lead strategic engagements, and manage the full cycle of sales from research to close and follow up.

Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with technical and line of business executives and collaborate with internal teams to provide prescriptive solutions.

Lead and manage cross functional teams, influence stakeholders, and contribute as an individual contributor to achieve regular growth targets.
