Business Development Director - Existing Accounts

Job Title: Business Development Director - Existing Accounts

Salary: £60k to £80k basic (depending on experience) + bonus + exec benefits

A unique and highly coveted vacancy has arisen within a progressive print group based in the South East of England.

The Business Development Director will help drive the company's profitable revenue growth throughout the country by building strong relationships with Senior and Executive-level client contacts within the company's credible range of accounts.

Responsible for all aspects of the business development process; from identifying target areas, establishing a pipeline, identifying and creating compelling proposals through to closing and converting additional business.

This role requires someone who can tap into their vast knowledge and expertise of the printing industry, understand client requirements, and help implement solutions that support their needs. Business Development Director will be expected to expand revenue by delivering enhanced value across a broader solution set and close those deals with the appropriate internal partners for each situation. You therefore must have excellent multifunctional collaboration skills, both internally and externally.

There will be plenty of room for imagination and initiative. You will achieve significant success by thinking ahead of competitors and continuously looking for new sales opportunities. This pivotal role within the company requires a highly innovative individual with a capacity to show innovation; who can bring fresh ideas to the table; think outside the box; and open new avenues.

The analogy we made with the client is: This role is not for someone who can just play chess; it is for someone who can play 3 dimensional chess

This is not a people-managerial role, but will play a pivotal part in the organisation's growth plans.
