Business Development Coordinator - London

Department: Business Development

Reports to: Senior Business Development Manager (with a dotted line to the BD Director, EME)

A global law firm is seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Development Coordinator to support the London office and its practice groups. Working closely with partners, lawyers and the wider BD team, you will help deliver a broad range of business development activities and play a key role in supporting the firm's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a key liaison for partners, fee earners and external clients.
  • Coordinate business development activities, including conferences, sponsorships and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of pitches and maintain high quality pitch materials and credentials.
  • Assist with client and market research, reporting, and ad hoc BD projects.
  • Provide support on client focused events in collaboration with marketing and communications teams.
  • Maintain mailing lists, invitations and responses using InterAction.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the BD team as required.
About You
  • Bachelors degree (2:1 or above), ideally in humanities, marketing or communications.
  • Minimum 3 years business development experience in a professional services environment.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Professional, confident, motivated and calm under pressure, with a positive attitude and good sense of humour.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels across the firm.
  • Team oriented, dependable and proactive.
Skills & Technical Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience with InterAction or iManage is an advantage.
