Business Development Coordinator

Reports to: Senior Business Development Manager (with a dotted line to the BD Director, EME)
A global law firm is seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Development Coordinator to support the London office and its practice groups. Working closely with partners, lawyers and the wider BD team, you will help deliver a broad range of business development activities and play a key role in supporting the firm's strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a key liaison for partners, fee earners and external clients.
- Coordinate business development activities, including conferences, sponsorships and cross-selling initiatives.
- Support the preparation and delivery of pitches and maintain high quality pitch materials and credentials.
- Assist with client and market research, reporting, and ad hoc BD projects.
- Provide support on client focused events in collaboration with marketing and communications teams.
- Maintain mailing lists, invitations and responses using InterAction.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the BD team as required.
- Bachelors degree (2:1 or above), ideally in humanities, marketing or communications.
- Minimum 3 years business development experience in a professional services environment.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Professional, confident, motivated and calm under pressure, with a positive attitude and good sense of humour.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels across the firm.
- Team oriented, dependable and proactive.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience with InterAction or iManage is an advantage.
