Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Controller & Analyst to join our team in Madrid. This role is ideal for individuals with previous experience in sales analysis, cost controlling, or HR controlling. The Business Controller & Analyst will assist the management of ALTEN in headcount reporting, controlling, and variance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reports.
  2. Controlling & Business Monitoring: Responsible for tracking key workforce metrics such as hiring, exits, and absences. This role also monitors headcount-related KPIs (e.g., occupancy, productivity) and analyzes business evolution indicators, including client portfolio, industry sectors, and project typologies, to support strategic decision-making.
  3. Variance Analysis: Identify and analyze discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures to understand trends and causes.
  4. Data Gathering: Work with various departments to collect and analyze operational, business and HR data.
  5. Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and rules.
  • Perform cross-checks with other departments to ensure data quality.

6. Process Improvement:

  • Support in implementing strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new reports and procedures.

7. Analytical Support: Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.


Qualifications:

  • Academic degree in Business or a related field.
  • Up to 2 year of experience in sales control, cost controlling, HR controlling, or similar positions (internships included).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluent in English.


Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Eager to improve your technical skills and valuable knowledge in data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
