Business Continuity Lead

WA Consultants are hiring for a Business Continuity Lead for our client. Inside IR35, one day per week minimum onsite.

This role requires expertise in Business Continuity and IT Service Continuity, preferably using ServiceNow Governance Risk and Compliance Modules and the primary purpose is to drive continual improvements to our processes.

Specific work packages are likely to include the implementation and rollout of a new business continuity software platform, support for an external audit of our business continuity management system and work to mature our approach to IT Service Continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design, implementation and rollout of the new
• Conduct Business Impact Analysis with departments to identify critical processes, resources, recovery objectives, and dependencies.
• Assist in the design and develop department-level Business Continuity Plans & IT Service Continuity plans, working closely with departments.
• Collaborate with the Risk Management team to ensure alignment with organizational risk
• Produce and maintain business continuity process
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices in business continuity and IT resilience
• Support business recovery, crisis management, and disaster-preparedness planning within the organisation

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in Business Continuity & IT Service Continuity planning
• Experience in implementing BCM software - preferably within a ServiceNow environment
• Strong understanding of resilience and recovery
• Experience in writing technical and business
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple
• Strong analytical and reporting
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Membership of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI) or
• Experience with ServiceNow and/or Riskonnect business continuity
• Familiarity with public sector or government environments and regulated
• Experience in facilitating continuity exercises and
• Understanding of IT service management and SLA's
