About the job
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Business Assistant with native-level proficiency in Spanish and Chinese to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a vital bridge for cross-border communication, ensuring seamless and accurate information flow across languages and cultures.
Key Responsibilities
Document Translation & Localization
- Translate company documents (e.g., contracts, reports, emails, marketing materials) between Spanish, Chinese, and English, adhering to industry-specific terminology and company style guidelines.
- Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure clarity and professionalism.
Meeting & Communication Support
- Provide simultaneous/consecutive interpretation for internal and external meetings (e.g., business negotiations, conference calls).
- Facilitate daily communication between internal teams, Spanish clients, and international partners.
Administrative Coordination
- Organize, archive, and maintain translated documents and terminology databases.
- Assist with administrative tasks in Spanish, including correspondence handling, government form submissions, and compliance documentation.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work closely with HR, Legal, Finance and Business teams to ensure translated content aligns with technical, regulatory, and branding requirements.
- Manage deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Language Skills
- Native-level fluency in Spanish (C1/C2 or equivalent) and Chinese (mandatory).
- Exceptional ability to convey nuanced business terminology across languages.
Additional Skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Familiarity with Spanish business culture and administrative procedures is a plus.
