In OIDS CET, our rapidly growing community of operating model professionals are responding to complex market challenges, to maximise business potential across the full spectrum of our industries.

Your role will include:
  • Translate strategy and future vision into actionable transformation roadmaps
  • Prioritise business demands and transformation initiatives based on value, risk, and strategic alignment
  • Evaluate and use emerging and innovative technologies or ways of thinking to shape strategy; design operating models,principlesand roadmaps; and delivertransformation
Business Architecture & Operating Model Design
  • Support the design and delivery ofoperatingmodels andidentifyareas of innovation/operational improvement within existing operating models
  • Ensure alignment between business and technology functions to design future-state capabilities
Project Management
  • Lead small project teams, workstreamsand/or components of engagements on time, within budget and to a high standard
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies to ensure projects are delivered smoothly and on time
Business Analysis & Decision Support
  • Gather and analyse business requirements, map current processes, identify inefficiencies, and define future-state processes
  • Develop and build business cases, leading on data synthesizing and modelling, to justify transformation initiatives through sustainable cost savings
  • Manage dependencies, assess project impact, and prioritise initiatives accordingly
  • Develop methodical approachsto research and analyselarge qualitative and quantitative data sets to shape insights and recommendations
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely and engage with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategy, priorities, and transformation goals
  • Develop and manage relationships across a broad range of stakeholder groups
  • Organise insights and develop compelling narratives to effectively communicate recommendations to clients

Proven depth of knowledge of the operational dynamics and industry trends in one or more of the following industries:
  • Consumer Packaged Goods
  • Transport, Hospitality & Services
  • Retail
  • Power, Utilities & Renewables
  • Mining & Metals
  • Industrial Products & Construction
  • Telecommunications
  • Media
  • Technology
  • Experience of use of AI/ Automation to accelerate key operational processes and/or optimise ways of working in one of the above sectors
  • Experience of managing change including stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption plans to ensure smooth transitions
  • Experience operating at a strategic and operational level, balancing long-term vision with hands on execution
  • Experience working across a variety of tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, Jira, Data Visualisation (e.g. PowerBi / Tableau), Low Code Platforms (e.g. PowerApps) and Process Modelling tools (e.g. Signavio)
  • Previous consulting experience, whether as an independent advisor or in house
  • Experience of a junior level operational role in at least one private sector organisation (as an employee or as a consultant/contractor) demonstrating knowledge of the overall operating model of that business
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification
