Rentokil Pest Control - Graduate Pest Control Technician

Location: Southampton area, full training provided, no experience required.

Role Overview

Graduate Pest Control Technician role: Start as a Pest Control Technician covering a specific geographic area, provide customer support, and receive comprehensive industry recognised training. During the first 6-12 months you will support customers by resolving pest issues and maintaining relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and identify potential risks.
• Swiftly tackle pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offer valuable advice to customers on premises maintenance and hygiene.
• Complete accurate reports after every visit.
• Provide exceptional customer service and uphold a professional image at all times.

Career Path

After 12-36 months you may choose a specialist role:

• Sales Surveyor
• Field Biologist
• Service Team Leader
• Key Account Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.2 degree in a science/BSc related subject including Social Science, or a BA in Business Management, Hospitality or Tourism.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desire to work hard and have fun while meeting and interacting with customers daily.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role applied for.
