Montis Group is creating a new breed of authorised and fully regulated post-trade utilities that enable financial institutions and investors to process digital securities globally, alongside traditional securities - delivering the market infrastructure required for digital securities to fulfil their true potential. The new service includes the issuance of new digital and conventional securities, registration of legal ownership, support the transfer of securities ensuring settlement finality and the management of additional post trade activities (e.g. interest payments) within the Central Securities Depository (CSD).

Montis is a subsidiary of Archax Holdings, which includes the first ever digital securities exchange (MTF), regulated by the FCA in London, alongside, its FCAbrokerage, custody, and crypto-asset permissions.

The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our start-up group to help identify the business requirements and with delivering the technology platform for new digital Central Security Depositories (CSDs). Delivering solutions into the UK and Luxembourg with a view to expand product, functionality and jurisdiction.

The start-up nature of the role would suit a candidate willing to be adaptive and agile, interested in the impact of their work and able to take responsibility for delivering an outcome rather than 'ticking the box'.

The role will embrace a wide remit and will provide the opportunity to learn and experience additional, complimentary skills in a dynamic, vibrant team.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Engagement with market participants (individually or collectively) and technology vendors
• Understanding and documenting structured business requirements, operational workflows and technical procedures
• Securing business and technology sign off for requirements
• Reviewing and agreeing requirements with market participants and technology vendors
• Monitor and manage change priorities along with the development and implementation schedule.
• Creating test scenarios, test cases and test data to support functional testing in conjunction with the test analyst.

Knowledge and Experience Required

• A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a business or test analyst
• Good education or relevant industry equivalent
• Strong understanding of capital markets, preferably in CSDs or custodian banks
• Understand the transaction life cycle of securities from trading to settlement
• Knowledge of blockchain technologies an advantage
• Ability to review and respond to legal and regulatory documentation
• Good written English and ability to review and create policies, processes, and procedures
