Job Description - Business Analyst (Power Platform)

Location: London - Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Overview

We are seeking a proactive Business Analyst with expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, analysing business needs, and translating them into effective automation workflows and digital solutions. This role requires a strong ability to engage with stakeholders, understand processes in detail, and help shape scalable, user-friendly solutions that deliver measurable business values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across different functions.

  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations.

  • Design automation workflows and solution outlines using the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).

  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying automation opportunities and recommending best-fit solutions.

  • Develop process maps, user stories, and functional specifications to support solution design and implementation.

  • Collaborate with solution architects and developers to ensure solutions are aligned with business requirements.

  • Contribute to testing and validation of solutions, including user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Provide ongoing support and training for end-users to maximize adoption of new solutions.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in business requirement gathering and analysis.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.

  • Proven ability to translate business needs into workflow designs and functional specifications.

  • Understanding of business process mapping and process improvement methodologies.

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup (2 days per week onsite in London).

Requirements Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools:

  • Power Automate for workflow automation

  • Power Apps for low-code applications

  • Knowledge of process mapping tools and techniques.

  • Familiarity with AI Builder and Copilot Studio for intelligent automation.

  • Prior experience in digital transformation or automation projects.
