Training courseBusiness administrator (level 3)
HoursMonday - Friday 9am - 4pm, 30 hours per week, 1 hour lunch (unpaid), Shifts TBC.
Duration1 Year 6 Months
WorkAs an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at workThe apprentice will support day-to-day operations, assist with office administration, handle communications, maintain records, and support the team as required.
Key Responsibilities- Answer telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately.
- Send and respond to emails in a professional manner.
- Filing, scanning, and maintaining accurate records (both digital and paper based).
- Enter and update data accurately using Word and Excel.
- Assist with ongoing projects and day to day business tasks.
- Support team members with general administrative duties as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle information securely.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.
- Confidence in handling enquiries and passing on messages accurately.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (training provided where needed).
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
