Your new role
As a Building Services Engineer, you'll play a key part in designing and delivering MEP solutions across diverse projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing mechanical and electrical design layouts, calculations, and specifications
- Using AutoCAD and Revit to prepare detailed technical drawings
- Working closely with architects, contractors, and clients to achieve project objectives
- Ensuring designs meet building regulations, industry standards, and sustainability goals
- Supporting low-energy and low carbon design strategies
- Carrying out occasional site inspections and progress reviews
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar engineering discipline
- Experience in MEP/Building Services design (2+ years desirable)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit (training available if needed)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
- A genuine interest in sustainable, energy efficient design
- Flexibility to attend site visits when required
- A full UK driving licence
