Job Description

Due to an increasing workload, we're currently looking for a Building Safety Surveyor based in the London area, to join our Building Safety team.

We're looking to expand our practice with people who we believe will thrive in our fantastic working environment. At the core of our culture and ethos is our desire to encourage employees to feel part of the wider PRP team as well as their local studio. We work collaboratively, with all of our projects benefiting from the experience and enthusiasm that our accumulated knowledge brings.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building safety inspections, fire safety assessments, or a similar role. Also, in-depth knowledge of building regulations, fire legislation, and current relevant guidance and standards is required for this role.

The role will involve conduct façade and Internal Fire Safety investigations/Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs), and preparing written technical reports with photographs. The role will also involve carry out site visits - both on existing buildings and new builds - and prepare written reports with photographs. You will undertake FRAEWs, including peer reviews, and ultimately sign EWS1 forms for buildings between 11-18m.

Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB, IFE, or equivalent) is desirable.

If you'd like to be part of a growing team with excellent career development opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
