Manchester Social Housing Sector Long-Term Opportunity

Our client has secured a number of long-term social housing contracts across the Manchester area and is looking to recruit an experienced Builder to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, customer-focused tradesperson with experience working in both occupied and void properties. The role involves carrying out a variety of bricklaying and general building repairs within residential properties, so a broad understanding of building trades and maintenance work is essential.

The Role

• Bricklaying repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
• Working across both occupied and void homes
• Carrying out general building and associated repair works
• Managing your own workload across multiple properties
• Providing excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bricklayer within repairs, maintenance, or social housing environments
• Strong all-round building knowledge
• CSCS Skilled Worker Card
• Own tools
• Own transport
• DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting)
• Experience working in occupied properties
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned jobs effectively

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am - 4:30pm
