Remedy Education is excited to recruit a passionate and skilled BSL Teacher to join a welcoming, inclusive school in Woodford. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference for deaf and hearing impaired pupils, supporting their learning, communication, and development in a specialist setting.
We are looking for a confident, adaptable teacher who can deliver engaging, inclusive lessons using British Sign Language (BSL) to ensure all pupils have full access to the curriculum.

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using BSL for deaf and hearing impaired pupils
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and the SEN team
- Promote inclusive classroom practices and positive engagement
- Monitor pupil progress and support strong educational outcomes
- Foster pupils' communication, confidence, and independence
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- BSL qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)
- Experience supporting deaf or hearing impaired pupils is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS (on Update Service or willing to apply)
