Broker Support - D&F

A leading Lloyd's broker is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Broker Support professional to join their Direct & Facultative (D&F) Property team. This role will directly support a Senior Producing Broker on a portfolio of business focused on Latin America, North America, and the United States.

The Opportunity

A leading Lloyd's broker is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Broker Support professional to join their Direct & Facultative (D&F) Property team. This role will directly support a Senior Producing Broker on a portfolio of business focused on Latin America, North America, and the United States.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide day-to-day support to a Senior Producing Broker, assisting with placement and servicing of D&F property risks

2. Prepare and process all relevant market documentation including MRC slips, endorsements, cover notes, and accounting entries

3. Liaise with underwriters in the Lloyd's and company markets to obtain terms, negotiate placements, and follow up as required

4. Support the renewal process and help coordinate submission materials and underwriting data

5. Handle client and market queries with accuracy, professionalism, and in a timely manner

6. Ensure full compliance with internal procedures and market regulations including sanctions screening and documentation standards

7. Maintain accurate records and manage internal systems for all placement activity

8. Build strong internal and external relationships, supporting smooth delivery of client service

Key Requirements

1. Experience in a Broker Support, Account Handling or Technical role within the London Market, ideally with exposure to D&F Property

2. Good knowledge of Lloyd's and London market processes

3. Ability to draft and review MRC slips and other key placement documentation

4. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a client-focused approach

5. Effective communication and relationship-building skills across all levels

6. Spanish language skills are desirable, given the LATAM portfolio, but not essential

7. Comfortable using relevant systems such as PPL, Whitespace, and Microsoft Office
