Job Title: Brickwork Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location:Centre based

Salary: up to £40,000 - inclusive of location uplift (Depending on skills and experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria

• Must hold your own Level 2 NVQ in Bricklaying.
• Must hold solid, occupational experience within Multi-SkilledConstruction(e.g. Brickwork; Plastering; Painting and Decorating; Electrics).
• Must hold own GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above / Functional Skills equivalents.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.

Duties

• Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications within Multi Skilled Construction (e.g. Bricklaying / Painting and Decorating / Plumbing / Carpentry etc.), within a classroom-based environment.
• Support learners working towards Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
• Ensure sessions are motivating,engaging and develop learners'skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learnersrelating to decision making and progression.

• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
