Overview

O'Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting an experienced Bricklaying Foreman on behalf of our client, a leading contractor with multiple live projects. The successful candidate will join the site team on a construction project in Cork.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervise and coordinate bricklayers and labourers on site.
• Plan and organise daily bricklaying and blockwork activities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and setting-out information.
• Monitor the quality of brickwork and blockwork, ensuring works meet required standards.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and labour requirements to maintain progress.
• Liaise closely with the Site Manager and other trades to ensure works are completed efficiently.
• Ensure all bricklaying activities are carried out safely and in line with site procedures.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years' experience working as a Bricklaying Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong bricklaying background with extensive knowledge of brickwork and blockwork.
• Proven experience supervising bricklaying teams on construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of setting out, levels, dimensions and construction details.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to achieve demanding quality and programme targets while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
