Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities for Breakfast Commis Chef 
- Breakfast Preparation: Assist in preparing and cooking breakfast items, ensuring consistency and excellence across all dishes served during morning service.
- Mise en Place: Organize and maintain your breakfast station, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are ready for a smooth and efficient service.
- Learning & Development: Take an active role in training sessions, learning new techniques, and applying feedback to enhance your culinary skills.
- Compliance & Hygiene: Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a positive, efficient, and supportive kitchen environment.
- Equipment Care: Ensure all tools, utensils, and workstations are clean, well-maintained, and ready for use, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.
- Basic experience in a professional kitchen or culinary training
- Understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Exposure to London-based hospitality operations and UK food safety standards
- Level 1 or 2 Food Safety certification
